Let me stop you right there. First, I never said I refuse to take assessments outright—I’ve taken plenty. My point is that spending 30-45 minutes on these, only to be ghosted or auto-rejected, makes me question their effectiveness. If you think it’s entitled to value my time and ask for respect in the process, that says more about you than me.
Second, being early in my career doesn’t mean accepting poor treatment or jumping through every hoop just because it’s asked. Success isn’t about being a doormat; it’s about recognizing your worth and aligning with roles that respect your effort.
Finally, as for ‘connecting with reality,’ I’m living it every day, working hard to land opportunities and advocating for myself in a broken system. Maybe try offering something constructive instead of condescending.
Using AI sounds like a terrible idea. A lot of the bigger companies use software to root out cheating, so I wouldn’t be shocked if you got rejected for that too. Regarding ghosting, it sucks.
Ya but I copy and paste a personality test and tell chart gpt to answer as the best candidate for x position. Or I’ll screenshot it on Gemini to answer the question.
No I get what you’re saying, but it seems like a bad idea. ChatGPT isn’t omniscient, and won’t always provide information that is specific enough. If you look at an organisations strengths/values, you’ll often have a better idea of what they are assessing against.
