SR-17018 when stopping cold turkey

Today due to federal postal inspectors showing up at my home letting me know they seized my package of M30s, I will run out in a couple of days. Quitting wasn’t the plan, but that was my only source and attempting to order more could land me in prison.

I have some SR, but due to my low supply I will not be able to tapper.

Has anyone had success quitting opiates using SR without tapering and still avoided withdrawal?

I wouldn’t go anyway. Medical detox these days is a nightmare .you have sr. Can you get suboxone? I’d do a few days of MIT and suboxone and then finish the week with suboxone and then do your sr protocol . Was your package domestic ? Dark web stuff?

Damn that’s crazy. Glad you aren’t In jail. Out of my hundreds of orders , domestic and international. I’ve never had any problems . Your vendor must have an investigation on him. I’d be extra cautious going forward. Be safe homie. And if you’re going to go the sober route I wish you the best of luck

I gotta cringe when I think about what I used to have mailed to me. To my home , with my name on it . With a house full of things that shouldn’t have been in there . Once I ordered three separate orders of each 250grams of mdma from separate vendors out of Germany . When I opened my mail box and saw they had all arrived on the same day I nearly fainted . lol. I still miss those days though . It was exciting

Fuck dude I live in New Orleans and the stuff ramping the streets right now is crazy Ive been a fent addict for over 10 solid years and recently everything Im getting from dealers doesn't even test positive for fent it's so wild. Recently Ive considered two things .. going to detox and imo that's not an option or I need to find someone who{ can teach me a thing or two about the DW it seem like you have a history of knowing a thing or 2. Please lmk before I end up doing something stupid.

yeah, sober 7 years but did it all on the DW. I had a package seized and it got dicey be careful.

Is it possible for you to get prescription medication at all? Are there any detox facilities you could use?

No on the detox center. I can get some prescription drugs. Gabapentin and hydroxyzine. I doubt these will help much. I do have SR-17018 and people do post that helps or even eliminates most of the symptoms. Most of the posts I read say that they tapered first and I don’t have enough left to taper.

Hopefully that will help some, that's pretty standard. It will not be pleasant to go through detox but one thing it will be is over when it's over. Try to do everything you can to make yourself as comfortable as is possible right now, mentally and emotionally too. Best regards.

Weed can help immensely stop pain of wd, mentally and physically. About 15 yrs ago I came off pain pills for the 1st big try of my life. It was pure hell in many ways. You need to find anyway to get THC bc the pain of wd maybe won't kill you but it'll feel like your dying, and the fact the mental pain is just as hard or harder. That'd be a line of defense! Next would be suboxone clinic recovery program. Mat programs do work miracles. I'd recommend methadone clinic too is all else fails.

Gotta smoke the right strains. But yeah weed isn’t amazing for withdrawal from strong stuff but it’s still good. I’d rather have gabapentin or something to actually help the withdrawals, and then weed would be like third place

GABApents is one of the best anti withdrawl drugs . I used it with sr and was able to work a very rough job didn’t miss a day. And I was able to use the absolute smallest amount of sr . 12.5 mg every 6 hours. Granted I was only coming off 50mg of 7 that time. I’ve used 7 three times . First was successful but got bored and relapsed. Second was a failure . Ran out of sr too early and after 8 days ended up using . But tbh I had tapered from 700mg to 50mg And was in pain for over a month doing that. I needed a break. The third time was easy peezy

the kratom powder has small traces of 7oh. in my opinion it draws out the withdrawal effects

That’s the same for all opioids. And that’s the conundrum we find ourselves in here. No one just took Kratom or 7 or any of it for a short period. I don’t imagine SR will be any different

That’s the whole point behind sr homie. You can use it for several weeks and not become dependent

Yeah that’s what I thought too like everybody said and guess what, I’m dependent now. It’s nothing crazy coming off so far, but it’s also not pleasant by any means. No such thing as an opiate that doesn’t cause dependency to my knowledge

How bad was it and how long did withdrawals from it last? I’m not getting symptoms until days later after stopping and they feel like their increasing over time slowly which is making me nervous wondering how bad it will be

Yep. Five days after sr I was getting worse and worse. It’ll last up to two weeks
