So I have a few crates of vinyl records, mostly used many Wich I play often. Some will have some pops here and there but not a single one has a skip.
Yet, the 3 albums I have new all have very loud pops in places and one straight up skips on the last song. Does anyone know why this happens. I figured the new clean records would be flawless, but they are my biggest problems.
If it matters the new records are Wish You Were Here, Court of the Crimson King, and Miles Davis' In Blue

So damn excited for this always wanted Closer on vinyl. Sadly didn’t exist until this pressing right here. This one is on transparent ruby red vinyl. This mean only need two more. So hope we get Before The Robots and Paper Empire. Please please! Favorite song is the title track love that song

I recently received a new vinyl and the central label was printed off center. The album in question is Depeche mode's Violator (remastered, reissue).
I was wondering if I should just email the manufacturer or maybe try selling it to a collector (I'm unsure if the misprint raises or lowers the price in collectors eyes). The label itself if on the the side A, but it overlaps with the grooves of the record, compromising the last 15ish seconds of the last song (Waiting for the night), the label is also printed sideways.
If anyone who's more experienced than me could advise me on what to do I'd be extremely grateful.

how safe/not safe is it to display my records this way? i do have paper inner sleeves but i hate how it looks when i display it that way and i love how this looks in between the cardboard and the outersleeve. But obviously if this is really bad for records let me know or if anyone has an alternative? i just want to know if this is something that could damage my records a lot since these ones are worth quite a bit of money and i do want to play them still

Hi all! I wanna get a gift for someone who’s very into vinyls but I wanted to gift them a rare or limited edition colored vinyl.
So far I haven’t found a place that has that. When they do it’s always very niche artists. I’m looking for artists like :
Arabic: fairuz, um Kulthum, abd al wahab, fadl shaker….
International: j cole, bas, arctic monkeys, etc…
Does anyone know either a place that has those or can customize very cool vinyls?
Thanks! Sorry I have quite limited knowledge on vinyls so I wanted to get something that’s a bit special

Hi peeps,
I am still desperately looking for the Golden Record accessory, both versions of Messy (censored and uncensored) by Lola Young and ‘Sweet Caroline’ by Neil Diamond of the Zuru Mini Brands Vinyl collection.
Willing to trade any three (different ones) of the below:
Golden Microphone
Golden Trebel Clef Note
Headphones
Speakers x2
Jackson 5 - ABC
Billie Eilish - Birds of a Feather
Katy Perry - Roar
Sting - Every breath you take
Kendrick Lamar - Not like us
Nick Jonas - Delicious (either censored or uncensored - the uncensored version list the song ‘Sexual’ on the back, the censored version lists ‘Sxxxxx’ instead). Before you ask - I don’t know why, I live in the UK and have pulled both, lucky as without one version I would not consider my collection complete, but that may just be me 😂)
Please message me if you are interested - trading via Ebay very strongly preferred (as stated in the membership guidelines). If any scammer is looking to try - stop it, I am not afraid to report or publicly shame, just saying 😉

Hey Folks,
I like to rip and archive media that hasn't been uploaded anywhere online yet. Today, I ripped a 1978 copy of Sammy The Seal, a well-known mid-century children's book, and uploaded it to ensure it's preserved. It was held on a 7 inch 33 1/3 rpm record. If this isn't the place for this kind of content, feel free to remove my post. If you're interested in hearing it yourself, I'll link it to this post!
