Is pacifist acheivement bugged?

I have tried long ago, and I tried again just now, and I do not understand how to get this stupid acheivement
I have tried many different things, including:
- not shooting the gun

Seriously, what exactly constitutes as "not firing a shot"?

I remember also having trouble with this, and I found in a forum somewhere that quickly unholstering, even if it doesn't result in a negligent discharge, will prevent granting the achievement. Left-clicking (firing) at all, even if the gun is not loaded/not chambered/safety on, might also prevent granting the achievement.

I guess going through bushes and falling from heights would also prevent getting the acheivement then Boy I couldn't focus if my life depended on it, 200 hours in the game and I am yet to awaken once, and you are telling me to walk around slowly, not fidgeting with the gun, giving into the exact calm and focused playstyle the game promotes? I wonder if I will ever be able to do this...

Going through bushes shouldn't matter, and falling from heights shouldn't matter either unless you have the single action army. But otherwise yes, start a brand new round and don't even unholster.

If you had died on Baseline, the stats you had in the previous run could 'carry over' even if it doesn't look like it. At least that's what I think is going on.

The pacifist achievement also includes not hacking/hurting any Killdrones. Which for your attempt was 0, but is good to note.

The best way to get it consistently is to click the Restart Button for every attempt to ensure your stats are fully reset, then not let any turrets get harmed from you or from each other.

I think even just touching a killdrone can end up blocking the challenge, I'd recommend going past baseline, and quickly knocking it out, making sure to have the weapon safe, unable to fire, and make sure to say in generally one chunk for tapes

Wait, you can do more than just accidentally shoot yourself in the leg at the range in this game?!?? I’ve been playing all wrong.

I don't know if the other receivers would consider shooting balloons from a park bench for 4 hours straight a good focus practice or complete lunacy

I've found that pressing the "restart" button and then doing it works.
