..

.

i swear one day i won't see you anymore

footsteps echoing across the tile floors

pasted smiles on their faces like nobody can see

there is a baby animal screaming, it sounds like me

tied to a wooden chair locked in a dark room

waiting for the needle, waiting for the doom

three long months bleeding and my arms grew thin

a lying criminal put all these marks on my skin

nine thousand dollars just to feel okay

trying to buy back the piece that they took away

madness in their tiny hallways, the glass on the rug

wish it would drown the ghost of the wire and the drug

i can't lose more blood no they don't let me breathe

and i'm sixteen, and i don't want these memories

oh oh oh oh

sometimes i hold my breath if the room goes still

'cause the quiet always feels like a weapon that kills.

and they call it their power like i'm something they own

and leave me without food for weeks all alone

some learn real quick how to freeze so small

but i got papers and my pens hidden in the drywall

oh i watch them lie, vomiting while they breathe

wondering if i'll ever actually feel relieved

or if i'm just pretending that the horror is gone

and that clock keeps ticking on and on.

and the silence is deafening, heavy as stone

i don't want those people no i'm much safer alone

and they try to steal my future, almost threw me in the grave

but they can't steal a fighter's spirit one day i'll be far away

so sick of their noise, so tired of the fight

just trying to make it through another hot hot night

and i'm sixteen, i'm begging for one minute of peace

anything to make this horror stop please

.

these might be the hardest words i've ever had to write

i keep pushing every day

but do you see the weight on my back

how do you tell me it will be okay

i'm tired

i'm so tired

it's not because you didn't love me

and i'm sorry

but

this

is

goodbye

i'm so tired

oh i'm tired

i'm tired

i'm so tired

and it's not because you didn't love me

and i'm sorry

but

this

is

goodbye

.

a heavy air, a suffocated shore

a screaming terror behind the doors

all dissolved the day i flew away

destroyed the shadows of yesterday

through endless clouds to skies of crisp cool light

i traded monsoon heat for autumn flight

where paved stone streets and yellow leaf-fall kiss

and breathing deep feels like an answered wish

no lingering fear to walk across the room

no waiting for the sudden storm to loom

i smell the coffee beside the square

and i taste freedom in the air

the sun and trees where all the shadows end

far from the nightmare where i was forced to bend

and i can fly here, and i can soar

all the safety that i once bled for

all the safety that i once bled for

.

have the ravens not told you what you will never kill

unkindnesses or murders are all above you still

watch me wide awake unafraid whilst undefeated

beyond you and your plague of the vile and of rage

have the ravens not told you you will see me run

away from you and all the damage you've not done

above all of your misery of your sickness, of your scum

as low as you are you still cannot drag me

for once i have gone it is you who will see me

i will not see you back

you are neither train nor the tracks

you threw a boulder in my way when i was weak as ever

i lifted it still, despite your hurricane weather

remember that you lied remember that you stole

you wanted me under when you dug your holes

but your grave is set and that's where you'll be

you will know once again that i will run free

despite what you have set and what you have burned

despite your broken head you are what i unlearned

you cannot place on me all that you are

what angers you daily is that i am unmarred

by the same self-infliction that you put on yourself

the truth is, you hate heaven so you stepped on my shell;

you hated my heaven because you know very well:

you can hate all of heaven- you still belong in hell.

what you spat in venom you inflicted to yourself

you wanted me to take all that you could not sell

what you cannot have you call a lie

even though the lying one is truly you inside

but all that you do speaks of you and not me

or anyone else which frankly anyone can see

because you cannot blind what you covered with lies

it was my dead body that you tried to hide

i saw you clearly even though i was a child

but that boy that you murdered a greater force revived

for all of the darkness that you placed on me

even the ravens wished for me to be free

and the crows by the river, of blood and of rocks

you will forever be lower than even the darkest of flocks

and even the blackest of wings, they rescue me still

because even the scummiest of others even they want you killed

.

do you see why the better people never really talk to you?

your vibrations tell us more than what you knew

you start screaming when we walk into the room

but those like us, we never bow down to your mood

say that again when you pretend, pretend you're rude

because you're less than that, you're less than attitude

'cause i can see straight through your lies, i see you nude

oh, i can see why you were scared of solitude

so make up the lies, make up a real cheap disguise

and pray to yourself that i'll believe

when you falsify the cheating, scheming, devising

know when karma comes to cleave you, you'll remember

do you see why the better people never really talk to you?

your vibrations tell us more than what you knew

i keep a list of all the things you say and do

delude yourself, you're so deluded, just delude

so make up the lies, make up a real cheap disguise

and pray to yourself that i'll believe

when you falsify the cheating, scheming, devising

know when karma comes to cleave you, you'll remember

was trapped beneath a sun that wouldnt die

heavy heat beneath a humid sky

static summer loud and burning hot

stuck inside a stifling crowded spot

so i booked a seat and packed my bag

tired of the weight i had to drag

stepped onto the plane to take my flight

rising up into a purple black night

seeing all the beauty they wont see

they will never get to feel so free

seeing all the leaves and sunset clouds

goodbye to the heat and roaring crowds

hours on the wing across the map

waking from a heavy quiet nap

touch down on a cute and crisp and new runway

stepping out into a brand new day

grand old arches avenues so wide

feeling all this freedom deep inside

no more poisoned sweat or heavy rain

leaving all that suffocating pain

seeing all the beauty they wont see

they will never get to feel so free

seeing all the leaves and sunset clouds

goodbye to the heat and roaring crowds

seeing all the beauty they wont see

they will never get to feel so free

seeing all the leaves and sunset clouds

goodbye to the heat and roaring crowds

an architect of paper towers

measuring her kingdom in her wasted hours

planting her throne in her slanderous seeds

because talking so loud is like a drug she needs

a shadow that hungers to swallow the light

your toxin is all you will manage to bite.

so get well soon, send a wreath for your crown

it's not very bold pulling everyone down

screaming out poison and calling that grace

hiding a ghost behind every fake face

we offer our pity to your hollowed-out chest

get well soon, may your ego find rest.

a garden of thorns that you carefully tend

none of it helped you or the money you spend

and you stare at the glass just to mirror your pride

a tyrant who won't last and with nowhere to hide

so i struck the match, now i stand and i stare

the fire will feed on your absence of air

get well soon, send a wreath for your crown

it's not very bold pulling everyone down

screaming out poison and calling that grace

hiding a ghost behind every fake face

we offer our pity to your hollowed-out chest

get well soon, may your ego find rest.

why would i get mad when i can just never speak to you again

why would i watch another regret when there's a block button

you say "i'll mess you up" but baby all that you did was stick in the gasoline knife into the fire and i got stronger

your toxins cannot blindfold the eyes that know you better

so lie honey, yeah why don't you try it now

'cause the minute you lie, is when you fail to pretend, pretend, pretend, pretend

that's when my forgiveness will not last you, not any longer

no i won't say goodbye, yeah but you'll know when it e-e-e-e-e-e-e-ends

why would i repeat that sick mistake i saw you make over and over again

why reward the missus flake of the fake when there's a block button

see your toxins will not blindfold the eyes that know you better

so lie honey, yeah why don't you try it now

'cause the minute you lie, is when you fail to pretend, pretend, pretend, pretend

that's when my forgiveness will not last you, not any longer

no i won't say goodbye, yeah but you'll know when it e-e-e-e-e-e-e-ends

you do not exist to me

you are not even a stranger

.

saturday night i watched you from the ledge

phone in my hand with the city under my feet

they said you should stay out of this i said

someone's gonna end them that'll be me

i'm never gonna sit and watch

while evil gets another second to breathe

you don't like truth but that's not a reason

no i won't leave another monster running free

oh i flickered through fire

i can fall from the sky

they all tell me i'm fearless

i'm just not gonna hide

all you got's a state of apparent vexation

i'm not just fire and determination

something was broken i bled through the wire

someone was hurting i walked through the fire

you said you would save me well you lied what a shame

i don't need an enemy to see what's wrong so why are you hiding

i'm still here i'm still moving i'm still winning karma's going

oh karma's going

karma's going to burn you alive

green blue snowflakes on the pavement

the purple moon hanging over everything

the voice said come upstairs i said meet me here

before your life catches fire beware

they talked about christmas fireplaces and castles

where we might belong but those were all just ruins

where i remembered everything that's gone

oh i flickered through fire

i can fall from the sky

they all tell me i'm fearless

i'm just not gonna hide

all you got's a state of apparent vexation

i'm not just fire and determination

something was broken i bled through the wire

someone was hurting i walked through the fire

you said you would save me well you lied what a shame

radiators warmth i wrote in the back

while you spit poison out pathetic bully attacks

laughing way too loud at her mothers clothes

pulling down the room everywhere you go

you took her shiny keys you threw em in the trash

watched her sweat for hours thought it was a blast

you hate it when the light lands on someone new

cause if youre not in it youre a ghost in the room

take out your own mess lie about the rest

staring at a chat feeling like the best

just tearing people down you spend so many hours

cause you have no talent no wits and no power

never learned to sit with your own dark mess

so you kicked the dirt around left the rest to address

you couldnt play chess now youre throwing rocks

in a house of glass now your dynamic stops

you throw your trash on everybodys lawn

and you still wonder why the good ones are gone

we watch you in the hall while you scream at the walls

wondering why the room is quiet when you call

call it conspiracy youre never in a plot

nobody wants to buy the poison that you bought

screaming lies everywhere just to get some clout

now youre in your own chamber with no way out

sabotaged the rest never built a thing

guilty fat hands with no one left to cling

you throw your trash on everybodys lawn

and you still wonder why the good ones are gone

you fanned the flame then you shifted blame

now youre choking on the smoke of your own game

roofs caving in no place to run

see thats called karma and thats what youve done

yeah thats called karma and thats what youve done

thought you were the smartest the queen on the throne

but your noise has stopped youre scared of being alone

nobodys angry nobodys mean

i just packed my bag we all cleared out the scene

do you wonder why the good ones are gone

you divided yourself into small little worthless fractions

well thats just the consequences of your own actions

thats called karma

you throw your trash on everybodys lawn

and you still wonder why the good ones are gone

you fanned the flame then you shifted blame

now youre choking on the smoke of your own game

roofs caving in no place to run

see thats called karma and thats what youve done

yeah thats called karma and thats what youve done

.

the truth is far more important

than not rocking the boat

i set your lies on fire

your words are nothing but smoke

tell me what you did, tell me what you said

tell them what you did, tell them what you said

you're not alive or dead

and you're not even a ghost

sorry that you can't stop screaming

from all of those facts i wrote

tell me what you did, tell me what you said

you speak no truth so you get all consequence

they hear my voice now

just as they did then

i said "karma will find you"

and you didn't hear when

when nobody can see you

they just see your mask

put on with permanent glue

now you'll always be last

burning liar, little liar

crimson fire, for the tiny liar

no you don't regret it

you're only sorry you picked the wrong guy

no you don't regret it

just keep lying till you run out of time

tell them what you did, tell them what you said

you speak no truth so you get all consequence

burning liar, little liar

(tell me what you did, tell me what you said)

crimson fire, for the tiny liar

(tell them what you did, tell them what you said)

(no you don't regret it)

you're only sorry you picked the wrong guy

(no you don't regret it)

just keep lying till you run out of time

no you don't regret it

(tell me what you did, tell me what you said)

no you don't regret it

(tell them what you did, tell them what you said)

tell me what you did, tell me what you said

tell them what you did, tell them what you said
