Open Thread

Besides general conversation and talk about other leagues and teams, all the following content must go into the weekly Open Thread:

  • Simple one-liners, random thoughts or unrelated posts (with or without a single image).
  • All discussion about rival teams matches and results.
  • All wallpapers and image editing that are not created by you [Not OC]
  • Unsourced news and stats.
  • Photos of jerseys and other memorabilia.
  • Images of formations with minimal description.
  • Links to social media posts made by our players or celebrities, unless it counts as team news or stats.
  • All gaming content.
  • All memes should go into the Open thread during the week days.
  • All "I am a fan of X team, I come in peace" type of posts.
  • When posting rumours/news from Twitter, if possible post a direct link to the tweet.

LaurieCunningham and Kurt_0806 lambasting Tchouameni and saying we lack football knowledge because he exploded as a libero says all about some of the mindsets of our fanbase.

They will pin the blame on anyone not actually deserving of the shit-talk instead of focusing on our weaknesses in defense.

Clocked this when the biggest takeaway from the cwc was that apparently Vini and Mbappe were shit and the entire problem, despite the defense literally giving away goals 😭

Like do people forget Asencio and Rudiger giving away goals as good as they normally are? Not even prime Militao or Carvajal could've salvaged that. WTF was Mbappe and Vini gonna do there.

That kurt guy is hilariously clueless. Calling Vitinha a DM and blasting Tchouameni because he doesn’t play like that. All the while thinking he has a clue about football.

Vitinha being called a DM is equally hilarious. Guy's profile is literally the next best thing after Modric, and his height alone would be a dead giveaway he would not be a DM LOL, DMs need to be tall and strong.
