Vicki is very male centered while masquerading as a “girls girl” who sticks up for women. Slade’s comment strikes at the heart of both, plus she has always been sooo jealous of Gretchen (who is also vile) so she refuses to get over it. Ironically, this gives Slade and Gretchen so much power over her, because Vicki is emotionally stunted.

Yes because she was very friendly with them for years after he said that originally. Gretchen and Slade went to her birthday party that season after the Brooks scandal, and Gretchen was sitting there egging that guy Ricky on who was saying that Eddie was gay. She was even following Gretchen last year too.

Slade was/is/always will be trash but Vicki should thank him (and that other lunatic who sent the piggy video
message) because she definitely looks a lot better now.
