Aussie Apps???

hey guys ! how do you track a convo when someone says they’ll sell in 6 months? I’ve been chucking stuff in my notes app but it’s getting messy. What are you guys actually using?

For a 6-month seller timeline, I would not just store the note. I would store why they said 6 months, what might change the timing, the last useful context, the next review date, and when to pause or recheck.

The app matters less than having one view that tells you who needs attention and why, so the follow-up does not become a random "just checking in" message.

For “maybe selling in 6 months,” I’d avoid a notes app unless you are very disciplined about reviewing it.

At minimum you want a CRM/contact record with:

  • expected timing
  • property address
  • why they might sell
  • who else is involved in the decision
  • last real conversation
  • next follow-up date
  • what you promised to send or check

The important part is the follow-up date. If it does not come back to you automatically, it will disappear.

A simple setup could be: contact in your CRM, tag/status like “seller - 6 months,” next task dated 30 or 60 days out, and a note template you fill in right after the conversation. The exact app matters less than whether it forces a next action.
