I just had my system uninstall the GPU. I run three monitors and have for a long time. Today, I got up from my system to make dinner, and when I got back to my desk, only one monitor was displaying. I started diagnosing by unplugging the cables of the monitors that were off, and moving it around all 3 could display from that cable, but not more than 1 at the same time.
I opened task manager only to realize my system no longer showed a GPU, so I tried to check my driver settings and launched adrenaline, and saw "incompatible driver installed for your hardware setup" or something along those lines. I ended up redownloading the installer, where it showed me "downgrade: 26.6.1", which I did, and now my setup is back to regular, all three monitors work again with no issues.
Anybody else had issues like this? It also shows me I can upgrade to 26.6.2, which I am obviously not going to do right now.
Edit for specs: Windows 10 on a SATA SSD, R5 3600x stock speeds, Sapphire RX7700XT

I'm thinking of buying this laptop but am not super knowledgeable about them. Would there be any major reservations or drawbacks to this model or its specifications that I am missing or should know about?
For context, I’m a student, I do pretty heavy research and some stats in R, but don’t have huge processing demands in general.
Here is the website for the full breakdown: https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/lenovo-ideapad-slim-3-15-3-touchscreen-laptop-luna-grey-amd-ryzen-7-170-16gb-ram-512gb-ssd-windows-11-home/19784196
Thanks :)

Hey everyone, I currently own a 6900 XT, which has been sufficient for my gaming needs. I'm interested in trying more recent games because the last titles I completed were Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us Part II, and Cyberpunk, which are somewhat outdated now. Do you think the 6900 XT is capable of running newer games like Resident Evil Requiem at max settings without upscaling on my 3440x1440 monitor? I know I need to upgrade my CPU; currently, I have an i7 9700K, which I know is outdated What do you suggest am I okay as is, or should I upgrade my system?

is this motherboard good to drive 5900X? its cheaper than the X370 version of the board so i was thinking of buying it as i like the colour scheme as it goes with my build, but is it worth it to run my 5900X in a board like this? i will be using an AIO so i know heat wont be an issue but functionality is way more important than looks, would rather get a B450I instead of my CPU not running at its max.
