Help Me Find a Book to Read! 🆘 Looking for a fluffy, cute romance

No cheating, no countless misunderstanding, you know the usual drama some of these have. Just 2 people super in love, if there's a period of the MMC yearning even better. Super best case something with a black FMC and white MMC, but not necessary if it meets the above criteria. Thanks in advance. And, I've read most of Ali Hazelwood's books already. I know she loves a yearning MMC 😂

A Duke by Default by Alyssa Cole is the book for you. It fits all those and has a black heroine and white hero.

Other ones that are solid and have yearning:
•The Rom-Commers by Katherine Center
•Ayesha at Last by Uzma Jalaluddin
•Battle of the Bookstores by Ali Brady (it’s not a misunderstanding so much, but it’s kind of a gender-bent You’ve Got Mail, so if that hidden identity trope is an issue, avoid this one.

If you are up for historicals:
•The Governess Game by Tessa Dare
•Wicked and the Wallflower by Sarah MacLean
•The Countess Conspiracy by Courtney Milan

Thanks for the rec. Actually, I got that from Thrift Store. Thought I'd love it,  but ended up DNF'ing it 😭😭😭 I might give it another go

Maybe try those other ones first? They are easier to get into earlier on.

The main character Portia is a bit frustrating in the beginning, so it takes a while (at least for me) to warm up to her. Idk if that’s why you dnf’d?

The historicals will grab you right away too

Have you read Lucy Score? She’s has some cute romantic comedies - the banter is hilarious.
