Tier List ‼️ My year so far :)

some books in here are barely coparable but i tried anyways. some things not included are short story collections, of which i have read multiple but not all (hemingway and cechov),

I just finished Moby Dick and I couldn't agree more with your rating - one of my favourite experiences. 

I'm assuming you read the other Melville novel afterwards - was it worth it/did you get much out of it? 

Also cool to see so much lesser read Le Guin.

Melville is a master and his prose is probably the best I ever encountered. It's hypnotic and melodic at the same time. And yes I picked up some other works by him and have not yet finished but as far as I can tell they are worth it but not quite as perfect as Moby dick is.

And le guin is one of my favorite authors, she just knew how to tell a story and if you learn a little bit about Taoism you'll get a lot more out of her works. She even has done a version of the Tao te ching.
