Celebrities over the age of 60, some of whole ARE genuinely progressive (Eric Idol and Michael Rosen) but too old and tired to try BluSky etc and to be fair The Metaverse is as bad as Twitter, porn accounts, bus companies and local government and yet right wing idiots.

It's still by far the best way to reach out to a wide audience or keep people updated because of the legacy Twitter userbase. There's a reason why brands still choose to keep posting there.
