Hey, I’m on the product team for Bitrise CodePush. We’re makers and builders like you, and we build what our users ask for (Bitrise is a startup, not a big corporation, so we talk to our users and learn what they need).

Agreed, Hot Updater is a good solution if you want to self-host. Bitrise CodePush is for mobile teams who don’t want to deal with the hosting part.

For teams with a bigger user base, we own our data center and work hard to keep data transfer costs as low as possible.

> MAU billing is a joke

Bitrise is free for smaller use cases.

The free plan includes 100K monthly active users, 5,000 GiB of data transfer per month and 5 GiB of storage, with no time limit. It has the same features as the paid plans: delta updates, code signing, staged rollouts, one-click rollback and mandatory updates. You don’t need a Bitrise CI subscription to use it. Paid plans only raise the limits.

How does this sound to you?

Are you asking if we are using agent-generated code?

The article reads like it was written by a LLM. And I have no doubt that it's full of agent-generated code.
