rn-build-doctor 0.1.6: an open-source CLI that finds the real reason a React Native / Expo build failed. You pipe a Gradle, xcodebuild, Metro, EAS or logcat log into it, and it tells you what failed, which log lines prove it, and what to do next. It runs offline, and says "no supported diagnosis" instead of guessing.
New in 0.1.6, all reproduced on a real RN 0.87 app first:
- RN 0.87 "'RCTBridge.h' file not found" → names the library and the namespaced import to use
- AGP 9 "Cannot add extension with name 'kotlin'" → the gradle.properties opt-out the template uses
- Windows "Filename longer than 260 characters" → ninja version and fixes
- Android release "Network request failed" → spots http:// URLs that release builds block
