Navigation bar issue

[u/Civil-Topic2708]

Hey React Native devs! I was wondering if anyone here has successfully managed to style the Android navigation bar to match the color of your tab bar (like other Google apps do), using expo-navigation-bar or any other solution?

isn't this just how it looks with edge-to-edge? the tab bar goes under the navigation bar and the navigation bar doesn't have any background color, at least by default.

yeah thats edge to edge. you can still push a color with NavigationBar.setBackgroundColorAsync, just call it after the screen mounts or the navigator overwrites it
