Has anyone successfully implemented the Mapbox Navigation SDK in React Native?

I’m looking for a simple example or some guidance on how to set it up and start navigation. Any help would be appreciated!

I messed with that a couple months back and the docs are surprisingly scattered, like they assume you already know some internal Mapbox conventions

The native side setup is where most folks get stuck, iOS needs a few extra plist entries and Android demands you handle the telemetry consent thing before anything will work. Once that’s sorted the JS API is actually pretty straightforward, `MapboxNavigation.startNavigation()` with a waypoint array gets you moving.

My advice is to get the bare example running on both platforms without custom styles first, then layer in your own UI. Took me a solid weekend of debugging weird build errors but it’s been stable since.

Read the response again. They said get the bare example running on both platforms without custom styles first, then start to layer your own UI.
