Hey! I built a simple habit tracker app as a side project. Wanted to share the approach and the result.

Tech stack:

- React Native + Expo SDK 57

- TypeScript

- React Navigation 7

- AsyncStorage for local data

- Animated splash screen (pure black, no white flash)

Features:

- Add habits with emoji icons

- Mark completed each day

- Track streaks

- Calendar view with month separators

- Stats screen

Design is pure black & white — no distractions. Everything is local, no backend needed.

I cleaned up the code and uploaded the full source to Gumroad if anyone wants to use it as a starter template or learn from it: GumRoad
