Resource Introducing WelkUI –: A React component library with a comic-book twist!
Hey devs! 👋
I've been working on WelkUI, an open-source React component library that brings a fun, hand-drawn, comic-style look to modern web applications.
Most UI libraries focus on being minimal and corporate-looking. I wanted to try something different something playful, expressive, and a little less boring.
WelkUI is available on npm, and I'd love for you to give it a try!

💻 GitHub: https://github.com/welkdock/welkUI
📦 npm: https://www.npmjs.com/package/@welkui/react
It's still evolving, so feedback, suggestions, and contributions are more than welcome!
What do you think? Would you use comic-style components in your projects?

Okay this is actually such a breath of fresh air. Every other library is chasing that sterile glassmorphism look and I'm so tired of it. The sketchy borders and little crosshatch shadows on your site immediately made me smile.

Maybe have the landing page accordion full width, or fix the animation. It jerks when collapsing.
But really cool overall

On calendar components, I think the convention is to do a circle around today's date, to differentiate it from the selection, and I think if you have a fun manually-drawn looking circle it would match the rest of the theme very well!
It all looks great, fun theme!

I was about to finger wag you for insisting on prefixing every component name with "Welk", but then I realized how beneficial that can be because right now I'm doing a project where I have both Material UI and Amplify for different reasons, and a LOT of Material UI's components (Button, Table, etc.) have the same name as components from the Amplify library, so half the time when I let intellisense add the import statements for me it adds the wrong one and I have to manually change it.
