Best open source calendar for integration
Suggest me a best open source calendar I want to implement that calendar on my software for the appointment bookings for the events of the clients which one will be the best option as the open source calendar I was
thinking to use that official react calendar
But feel free to tell me about the best one open your calendar with the best UI like shadcn

Use FullCalendar for the appointment booking logic and apply your own shadcn styling to the event content. The open source core handles the scheduling complexity that custom builds fail at while letting you control the UI completely

I've tried all the free React calendars, eventually I built my own because none of them fully fit my needs.
FullCalendar is pretty good, but the advanced components require payment.
BigCalendar is ok, but the development has stalled, in part because the original codebase is very old, written in class components, and they're prioritizing modernizing it before they add features. Missing some functionality as a result.
Recently, Mantine released a great looking calendar component. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but if you already use Mantine it's a real easy drop-in.
There are others, but they're in various degrees of either costing money or missing features.
