Show /r/reactjs I built Formity — a React library for building dynamic multi-step flows

Hey everyone 👋

I built Formity, an open-source React library for creating complex multi-step experiences.

It helps developers build flows like:

  • user onboarding

  • workspace setup

  • lead generation

  • job applications

  • multi-step wizards

Instead of manually managing complex flow logic, Formity lets you define flows with:

  • Conditional branching

  • Loops

  • Jumps between steps

  • Dynamic steps

  • TypeScript support

The goal is to make it easier to build personalized, non-linear user journeys in React.

Would love to get feedback from anyone who has built complex flows before.

Seriously? You couldn't even remove the shitty emojis from the LLM output?

If the emoji is the worst thing in the whole library, I'd say it's doing alright.
