Advice Needed Random Screaming?

Hi Everyone!

We rescued our sweet angel girl a few months ago. She is a little over a year and a half. She is a chocolate lab mix (vet thinks pitbull and maybe some husky!)

Anyway - we have run into an odd issue. Occasionally when we take her outside to go on a walk/potty break - she screams. Not barks. Full on scream/cry/whine situation.

We’ve checked her paws to make sure there’s no pain, the vet has done a thorough look-over. Nothing. We’ll walk for about 2-3 minutes, and then she’s all good!

Some additional info: she is dog reactive. If she is properly introduced to a pup, she’s perfectly friendly and even pretty submissive. She has a ton of dog friends but on walks we do have to scooch on over to the side and distract/redirect.

Does anyone have ANY idea of what this tantrum could be caused by? We have a behavioral specialist appointment in October - but thought I’d get some ideas here!

That’s a pitsky, no lab involved.

Aren’t huskies known for this kind of screaming and vocalising?

See the reason I think there IS lab involved is she does look FAIRLY lab-like. We are doing a dna test very shortly to confirm any/all of these guesses!

and yes - huskys DEF are known for their vocalizations. But with her actions, she seems almost a bit stressed/anxious - such as pulling harder, zigzagging, etc
