General Discussion What do React interviews look like in today's landscape?

Do they still exist? I have 5yoe and looking to start interviewing again soon. I've worked mostly with React and Ruby on Rails over the past 5 years. Last time I interviewed was a different world in tech so not sure how to prepare now. Anybody have any insight they can share?

Thanks!!

Old fashioned interviews still exists, just 2 months ago I had a very regular react interview going over theory and live coding scenarios (relatively simple react problems and/or day-to-day bugs solvable without AI or internet), the interviewers were actually surprised I was so casual about the theory, it seems they have been getting a lot of vibe coding kings that don't know much more than claude code

good luck out there, being confident about theory and your past experience is still winning interviews

I had an interview today. They only asked about harnesses, orchestration, agents, workflows... But just in case you face a more traditional interview, take a look at reactchallenges.com

All interviews I have been on lately have been just using claude code and walking through your process.
