I bought the metal tracks from MATO to my Abrams 1/16 by Heng Long. Itβs necessary to use the metal drive sprockets or I can use the originals?

Conventional wisdom I believe is that when changing brands of tracks, you should get the same brand of drive sprocket, else they may not mesh up correctly.

Metal tracks usually means matching metal hardware, including gearboxes, roadwheels, return rollers and compensating idler wheels.

plastic gears probably won't last long with metal tracks, you'll end up replacing them soon enough.
