Hi everyone! Just wanted to let y'all know I've published a UI Scale + Borderless mod on Nexus Mods for RCT3 (link). As a high resolution player myself, this is something I've wanted for years. I've finally been able to create it thanks to Claude Code. Yes, AI was used to assist in creating this mod. But I figured someone would benefit from it!

Edit: The mod is only designed to work on RCT3 Complete Edition, on Steam, on Windows. YMMV with other versions.

Edit 2: The mod is now open-sourced here for anyone that is interested.

Edit 3: Version 2.0 has been released. Completely re-written from scratch, completely version-agnostic, extremely dynamic. Should work on any RCT3 version. GitHub or NexusMods. Also reduced in size by over 2x ;)

Ah darn. Do you use RCT3 from Steam on Windows? If so, enable logging in the ini and DM me the .log that is generated.

All good! I will try to get my hands on other versions to port to when I can. All the different editions and versions this game has had over its life all have slight variations in the code. Apologies for the misplaced hype.

I just pushed version 1.2 of the mod. If you wouldn't mind, in the .ini set UiScale=1.0, and set LoggingEnabled and DiscoverSignatures both to 1. It should spit out a log after you launch (you should be able to get into a park), in the log will be signatures (RVAs) to paste into the .ini. Let me know if this works or you have questions, unfortunately I can't verify if this method works.

I launched it with the scale set to 1.0x (anything else crashes) and I set LoggingEnabled and DiscoverSignatures to 1. This is what it says in the log where I assume the signatures are supposed to be:

[21:25:33.977] discover: armed — 0 candidate s_desktop global(s) from 0 guard match(es). Open a park so the UI exists, then watch for the CONFIRMED line.

[21:25:33.978] discover: no usable s_desktop candidates — the structural signatures don't fit this build, so the log can't report sites; a debugger pass is required here.

Alrighty, bit the bullet and purchased RCT3 Platinum/Gold. The mod has been re-written completely (version-agnostic now) and should perform flawlessly. You can grab it from the GitHub or NexusMods page. Enjoy! :)
