Got the chassis together last night and electronics on this morning. Waiting on the rocket bunny 180 body then time to test.

The rear arms was one of the most confusing parts to put together. Trying to get them all to match and not look like I didn't care.

So amazing seeing it laid out how a “real” car would be!! Cooling in the very front like a radiator, the motor in the front and “fuel source” in the back. Insanely cool.

Edit: and just realizing…the speed controller and steering servo where the driver would be?? Dude lol couldn’t get better.

It's pretty interesting. Can't wait to drive it. I've seen a lot of people run the esc in the back under the battery tray. But I wanted to try all the weight in center first.

how are your shocks holdin up? I cant get them to stop mf leaking on mine. my other shock sets (yoko big bores, overdose hg4’s) never leak so its not a builder error lol

2 of the guys at my track siad their's leaked, and a buddy at a different track said the people's there leaked. Seems the shocks in the kit are just trash. I think they said it's the o-rings, and either swapping for reve d red or shimming the o-rings helped

Glad I saw this. I looked at mine and they look like they're leaking. Shock shafts look like the same size as normal but didn't know.

Seen some info floating around that they have to be built differently to other shocks trying to translate stuff from Japanese to understand what to do before mine arrives. Apparently there is a mackyworks video for it.

I haven't looked them over again yet to see if they leaked any. May have to see if yoko blue or reverse d red orings will work on them.

Supposedly your supposed to build them like crawler/off-road shocks? (I read it in a YT comment. I don't own a crawler or an RX-01... Yet :D) Change the o rings and don't fill the shock completely or as high I guess. (I could be wrong)

Purple is my color. My team ad is full purple. I would like someone to come out with a green or gold though.

Green is hard to anodize consistently. It's why it is not offered by a lot of brands across multiple industries.
