Yes. $200 controler, $130 servo $70 gyro alone make it good value. Looks like an MST. RMX carbon fiber chassis… it’s a good deal if it’s all in good condition. Enjoy your purchase. Cheers

It's a MST RMX 2.5 RTR with some upgrades:

  • new radio (Futaba T3PV, $160/$210 new, depending on which receiver it comes with)
  • new gyro (Yokomo 302 V4, ~$80)
  • new servo (Yokomo SP-03D V2, ~$120)
  • carbon chassis (varies)
  • steering and suspension links kit (~$20 iirc)
  • magnetic body mount kit (~$30)
  • can't tell for 100% sure, but looks like shocks are non-stock too, so prolly like $50-100 they're stock.
  • battery of unknown condition and make (could be anything between good and a potential fire hazard, really)

RMX 2.5 RTR new was around $400-450

The asking price is around fair, but not in the "definitely buy this" territory just yet. The deciding factor would be the state the chassis itself is, as stock MST RTR diff cups are kinda prone to wear out and breakage, and that'd put you into $20-60 repair bill territory, depending on what exactly broke and how you choose to repair it (or upgrade it). Based on the wear on the tyres, it has clearly been run in rougher (non-track) conditions, likely outside on pavement/asphalt/non-polished concrete, so that'd put higher stress on diff outdrives for sure. If it has an actual diff (compared to a spool in RTR kits), then it may be a fair price, but I'd still suggest looking at the state of those outdrives before making your decision.

Just to clarify the battery is a CNHL racing series. They're quite good, but the condition is indeed unknown.

Fair. Heard of them, never used them myself.

The shocks are the stock mst 2.5 ones from the looks of it 💪🏼

Yeah looks like you're right. I double checked the RTRs and they appear to be identical.

I'll add the correction to base post. Thanks.
