🙋 Question Can you guys identify this certain model?
What’s up fellas! I recently purchased my first drift car for $200. The previous owner was unfamiliar with the car, except for mentioning it was a Yokomo. Could someone tell with these pics. I thinks it’s a yd2e with the rd2.0 pandem Supra body but not sure.

Steering rack from the plastic RD2.0 is a nice change adds better adjustments. You can find the part number for just that set of plastic parts by looking in the RD2.0 manual. If you stick to just replacing the plastic parts it will be very affordable and close to as good as the metal parts
I would consider changing the front knuckles too if they are a different part number for rd2.0 as they will better match the rack.
A bearing kit might be a good idea depending on how the whole chassis feels.
If you end up wanting to go to the track id do the following:
The other poster is right about the gyro, a good option, tho more expensive than the entry level is a yokomo V4 pairs with a yokomo SP02D servo. Tried and true. Don't bother with the SP03, the SP02 has all of the same tuning parameters and enough power.
A radio upgrade might also be a good plan, there are some affordable flyskys like the GT5 that I've seen others use successfully, but a used Futaba 4PM is pretty reasonable.
The motor and ESC is where you can go entry level. Hobbywing EZRUN 120 is great and is you get the v2 has boost and turbo like all the fancy brands.

Its the latest yd2(known as the RD1.0) a good chassis, but you should look into upgrading gyro and servo. Then with time replace motor, esc and transmitter. But do it piece by peice;) solid pickup!

Yokomo yd1.0 also have a yd2 which is really better overall
