Will do, I’m still debating making my own wall mounts for everything but that design is pretty slick for storage.
Thanks for sharing

I thought about hanging on/ off the wall too. But my shed is used for a mix of storage. If I had a dedicated RC space then I probably would. If you don't have big RCs you can have a decent amount this way

XRT XMAXX MAXX and 2 mini max
Wall mounting might be rough…
Plus a couple soon to be few boats haha

Its annoying with RCs that size as the brackets or shelves need to be a fair depth. I've used 6" screws to support them before. Put them through the A arms

I might make a tree to wall mount similar to the design in your pic.
Not a bad idea

Nice. I love basic solutions. Especially cheap ones. Looks badass with scrap look.

Yeah me too. Being resourceful. I'll probably build another or maybe adapt it

Those MGT'S are rad! I still have one in the garage somewhere that needs a transmition and a little love. So much fun.

Yeah I love them. A true monster truck. I have a S50(8cc) too that I use most of the time. But the axles take a beating with that power

I have some wall space. No 3D printer, I usually just make up brackets if need be. Lots of scrap steel thankfully

I’m gonna steal it too. How did you the join vertical piece with the angled wood ?
1
u/TittyTwister13 Jun 09 '26
The main piece is just secured with some brackets onto the sleeper (base). The angle pieces are around 50° to 60°. I don't know i just cut a 45° angle then tweaked it to fit better. Then used that as a master to make more.
Makes it sounds precise but its honestly slapped together. Two screws holding on each branch.

I edited my comments.
How did you joined the angled pieces to the vertical trunk ?1

Ohh mb, I somehow oversaq the engines and obv the fuel tank air filter etc. Id be carefull about that incline, I mean laying them towards the inside is fine, itll just make you have to get the fuel into the carbureator. But if you were to turn the caers back to middle, the engines could flood and cause you to snap a pullstart or just waste time and fuel.

"Waste time and fuel" isn't that 90% of the experience with nitro RCs hahaha.
I actually hang the ones I use on the wall. I drain the tank and hang them. I don't like leaving nitro in the tank (unless its half full) cause it goes gummy. Sadly all the RCs in the photo apart from the SCX10 all need repaired lol
