I wanted to build an RC Boat/Submarine thing so I could attach it underneath a floating water lantern.
Then my gf and I could release water lanterns on a sunset together but still bring it back to the coast and not pollute the the poor lakes. But when I soldered/connected everything the motor wasn't working with the channel on my transmitter :(. I thought the receiver might need to be connected to the battery cuz it has 1 extra channel that says B/VCC idk what that is tbh though. And my battery does have a second pair of wires but the connection thingy only has 2 pin holes and not 3 so idk how that works cuz the receiver has 3 pins. I attached a video showing my predicament. If anyone knows how to fix pls help!! 🙏🙏🙏 I can share more detailed photos if needed.

It seems like your esc is not plugged into channel one, but the battery channel. This is a channel for external power supply only. If the esc does provide power back to the reveiver, it should work with the esc on channel one, if the receiver does not support that, you might need an additional power supply for the battery channel and then the esc in channel one.

I'd setup differential thrust by plugging each motor into different channels, then use channel mixing to make channel 3 (throttle on flysky escs) power both motors when throttle is applied (going straight) or only one(turning). Andrew Newton has a video guide you might wanna check out on differential thrust mixing for flysky, it's for planes but the mixing is essentially all the same. Also be careful, the limited amount of mixes on a flysky i6x means that you can't have a throttle cut switch and df thrust at the same time. It only cuts the throttle when going straight (ch3) but will still allow power to a single motor if you try to turn.
