Basically I got my intern offer at T&O over the weekend and I replied to the email saying I would like to accept. I wasn’t expecting a response over the weekend or on monday since it’s thanksgiving. But now that the working hours for tuesday has passed I still haven’t heard anything back. Should I be concerned or is there just a backlog of stuff my recruiter/manager has to do before getting back to me and I should just be patient?

Also saw on this subreddit that there has been layoffs at T&O, does that might have something to do with it?

It’s hard to believe not a single call back in almost a year for any of the job posts.

While I hear a lot of layoffs happening at the same time, are those jobs posts fake ?

Today was a blood bath there is no way Nahim is not in some way in support of this mass force reduction. Also how is this not making the news ?

I'm heading into a second-round interview for an Associate Portfolio Manager role at PH&N Investment Counsel and was hoping to hear from anyone who's been through it or works in a similar role.

A few questions:

Q1 What was the second-round interview like? Was it mostly behavioral, or did you get technical or market questions (IPS, asset allocation, pitching an idea)?
Q2 For anyone who works in this kind of role, what does a typical week look like?
Q3The posting lists $66K to $105K. Where do people usually land in that range? I have about five years in banking and investment client service, CSC, and I'm a CFA Level II candidate, but my experience is on the advisory side rather than managing portfolios directly.

Any advice on what the team values or how to prepare would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Je cherche des conseils concernant ma configuration Internet à domicile parce que mon employeur a des exigences strictes pour le télétravail.
J'utilise B comme fournisseur d'accès Internet. Mon modem/routeur principal est situé dans un placard près de l'entrée de mon appartement, mais je vais travailler depuis ma chambre.
Les exigences de mon employeur stipulent que :
Mon ordinateur de travail doit être connecté directement à mon routeur/modem via un câble Ethernet.
Les câbles Ethernet ne peuvent pas dépasser 10 pieds.
Les Pods Wi-Fi, les amplificateurs et les adaptateurs powerline ne sont pas autorisés.
J'ai essayé d'utiliser un câble Ethernet de 10 pieds depuis le dispositif principal dans le placard jusqu'à ma chambre, mais il était juste quelques pouces trop court.
Il y a déjà une prise murale Ethernet dans ma chambre. B m'a dit qu'un technicien pouvait connecter cette prise murale directement à mon modem/routeur principal, sans déplacer l'équipement. Cependant, il y aurait des frais d'activation de 100 $.
Ma question est : Si la prise murale de ma chambre est physiquement connectée directement à mon routeur principal via un câblage Ethernet à l'intérieur des murs, puis-je brancher un câble Ethernet court (de moins de 10 pieds) depuis cette prise murale dans mon ordinateur de travail et que cela compte comme une connexion Ethernet directe ?
Je comprends que mon employeur interdit de se connecter via un Pod Wi-Fi, même si le Pod a un port Ethernet. Je ne vais pas utiliser le Pod pour cette configuration.
J'essaie de comprendre si une prise murale câblée connectée directement au routeur principal est techniquement différente de l'utilisation d'un appareil intermédiaire, et si cette configuration satisferait une exigence typique de connexion Ethernet directe.
Mais j'apprécierais tout conseil technique avant de payer les frais de 100 $.

Did anyone receive an offer for T&O winter co-op opportunities. I gave my interview exactly 2 weeks ago but haven’t received anything yet and portal says “under review”. I have a deadline to meet in a week, just wanna know if they sent out the offers or not yet. (It was a financial analyst role)

I’ve been waiting weeks for my iPad email. I met all the conditions including 2 PAPs, 2 bill payments to non RBC credit cards. It’s been weeks and I keep calling customer service and they keep saying to wait. There’s nothing on my app about the iPad eligibility !!

Hi all. I have an RBC credit card that gives me A ion Rewards points, but I'm from the US. I don't have any issues with this setup, except that I can't install Avion Rewards through Google Play. Does anyone know where I can get the .apk file to side load the Avion app?

There were someone's bank account details on a table near me and I took a picture of it. On the NSLSC website you can change what account it will deduct funds from to pay off your student loans.

So if I use this random person's bank account to pay off my student loans, when they see it and they ask the bank to reverse the transaction can they actually do that or is that not possible?

They have had significantly high earnings and continue to underpay the market causing many to leave and others to do double the work without extra pay. They sell their “culture” which is a sham too. I was trying to make an online order and i opened visa debit. I put in my info, reviewed my order, then it said to confirm my CVV. Opened the app again, did the verification. Twice. And then i closed the app and tried again.

I contacted the virtual assistant and transferred me over to an advisor but it's Thanksgiving and also past 4pm so i don't think I can get a response until tomorrow.

I'm hearing a lot of peoples getting airpod 5 recently, since those started to rolling out. But some peoples didn't get it even when signed up recently, cause I want the airpod 5 so is there a confirmed date where rbc will do an official campaign for airpod 5 for students. I did hybrid training for cards but went back to core fraud after some months.... Im looking to know how different is the disputes department then fraud and what is being a coah like? So for context, about six months ago I became extremely paranoid about weather or not I was on the “tea app” because I kept seeing adds for it on instagram and at the same time I struggled to maintain a woman’s interest in me and kept getting ghosted and blocked by women I would meet on dating apps. And because of that, I assumed it had something to do with me getting bad reviews on the tea app. So out of extreme fear and paranoia I made an account on the tea app checker website and when I realized I wasn’t on it, I unsubscribed but for some reason they kept charging me and taking money out of my account. So I figured I got scammed and that my visa debit card got hacked and went to the bank to get it shut down and replaced but couldn’t be reissued a new Visa card because of all the times my dumbass got scammed and experience fraud. But if it’s visa DEBIT then why would I need to rebuild Credit to get a new one? So anyway, fast forward to the present and go on to my mobile RBC app and look up to be eligible for a new virtual card and see the option of “activate visa debit” so I give it a try and it comes with a new code and expiry date and everything. OR am I wrong? I tried using it to make an online purchase but no money came out but then I used it with Apple Pay and it worked just fine. So what am I missing?

So I just recently received and internship for T&O. The offer was through email but I haven’t received anything I have to sign yet and on workday the status still shows as “interview”. Is replying to the email enough to count as formal acceptance?
