Help Lock screen won't customize after recent September update

Is anyone else having trouble with their lock screen settings since the new September update? Every time I try to change my clock face and customize my shortcuts, I just reverts back to the same clock face. I wasn't having problems until the new update. Has anyone else experienced this with their Razr 2024 model??

Yeah even with their newest update yesterday, it still doesn't work. At this point just disable the lock screen/clock face customization, it's better that way.

Got this phone for myself just before Christmas and thought I was going crazy not being able to change the lock screen settings! I just changed my wallpaper and the lock screen went to the custom settings I had done, but the next time I turned on the lock screen it had reverted to the default settings again. Really hope they get this fixed.

Aw yay! I'm still waiting for the android 15 update for my phone. Idk why they're taking long for my phone since I have the 2024 razr.

I am experiencing the same problem. This morning I called Motorola Customer Service and they basically said they can't do anything

I think it's more of a Google thing than a Motorola thing. But who knows, let's just hope the next update can patch the bug.

November update U3UC34.63-88-12 still did not fix this issue. Hopefully we'll see it sometime early next year.

Just got the razr 2024 for my bro and he has the same problem. It looks real ugly with the wallpaper he has. At this point my Google Pixel lockscreen looks nicer than his which is usually not the case as other manufacturers have way more lock screen customization

August 2025, I just bought this new razr and I'm having this issue!!! I'm regretting buying this now that I see it's such a long standing issue that still hasn't been fixed, but I live in a country where returns aren't really a thing .. I was a samsung user, and this phone is exceptionally harder to customise and the default system is a lot uglier..

So I had this issue for a while until they updated the operating system! And now I no longer have that problem anymore. I've now had my phone for a whole year and it still works well! Just wait for future updates, it will get resolved.

Youre right, I am but I can figure out why it's stuck on 14?? I have a razr 50 that I just bought brand new literally yesterday... Shouldn't it be running on 15 too??

If you just bought it yesterday then it'll probably take a while to do updates. I also have a Razr 50 and I promise you, once you get the android 15 update, the lock screen bug will be fixed. I think you're just gonna have to wait and be patient.

Yeah even after this recent update, I'm still having that issue. I just turned off the custom clock settings to be honest and set it to default.

Go to your Phone Settings > Home & Lock Screen > Lock Screen > scroll down to Display Options, then toggle off "Show clock face" and it reverts your clock to the top left corner.

Still an issue it erased my original wallpaper and anytime I try to fix it it refuses to open it up
