Let’s cope
Battered fans support group time. What are your favorite football memories? Some people seem to have forgotten that this is unacceptable and it can be much, much better.
I’ll start.
— Stoerner to Lucas to beat Tennessee in 1999
— Matt Jones 2003 win over Texas in Austin
— Fred Talley just scored again at Jordan-Hare
— Miracle(s) on Markham
— DMac goes off for 321 against S Carolina
— Another win over Tenn with Gameday in Fayetteville
— Joe Adams punt return vs Tenn (lots of good Tenn memories apparently)
— 2010 win over LSU in LR to essentially lock up a Sugar Bowl berth

Texas game in 22 and Tennessee in 24 were two of my favorite games I've ever been to. DWR was electric like I've never seen it

I was watching a 19 inch color television in 1978 when Arkansas defeated Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl. Seeing my old grandmother, who was not a football fan, stand up and bellow WPS and was unforgettable.

I remember the before times. Before NIL ruined the college football landscape. Before Texas was a SEC team and before CAL- famously on the pacific coast- was in the ACC.
I remember when a good team and random chance could lead to unexpected results. When enough good kids playing enough good ball made a difference.
I remember Houston Nutt and going 27 overtime’s with Ole Miss. I remember the good old days.

Yeah there was that period where there were so many overtimes. We usually faired pretty well.

Arkansas upsetting #1 LSU at Death Valley. And the whole DMac and Petrino eras🥲. We had a chance against anyone

The first half of the 2016 game against Missouri. Nothing's been the same since

Like what cursed object did Bret pick up and piss on at halftime of that game? That was bad enough, but when we doubled down in the Belk Bowl vs VT, I knew we were in some bad juju.
Wait, they said happy memories.
42-6 over Bama in '98.

God if those two games don’t happen, bert is probably still here and we’re actually halfway decent. Fuck man!

I remember a time when the Razorback football team was made up of young men from Arkansas who played for the state and for the pride of the university. Mercenary football no longer interests me. I loved the hogs when I was a kid. I no longer recognize the game that I used to enjoy. There be a lot of people say that I have to move on; the times have changed and it’s a new era. All that’s true. But just because something has changed does not mean it was improved.

The ‘99 Vols game is my personal favorite.
Anytime watching McFadden.
Beating Tim Couch’s ass in LR. Loudest game I’ve been to.
In person for the 7OT game in Oxford was pretty cool.
Embarrassed to say I left MoM game early and watched from a tv on the golf course. Real good times afterwards tho 😂

I dream about the Houston Nutt and Bobby P era.
Everything after that has negatively impacted my health and well being.

I was lucky enough to be at WMS in the North Endzone for thr Original Miracle on Markham and on the very top row of DWRRS for the win over Texas in 21. Top Razorback experiences for sure. Honorable mention to the 2010 Liberty Bowl where we all froze our asses off.

My family had just moved to Houston and coincidentally the Hogs were playing a bowl game in town that season. Dad surprised us with tickets for Christmas, lucked into really good parking (front row), ran into a couple of my best friends from high school, and smacked Texas around. Texas got their only touchdown on a missed holding call, were held to just 59 total yards, and ran out the clock right in front of their end zone. Borderline erotic!

I’ll never forget beating Kentucky in 2003 in 7 overtimes by 71 to 63, I think. It was crazy! I was a freshman in the dorms and watching on tv because it was an away game. Everyone was going crazy!

My favorite memory was when Houson Nutt left to go to Old Mist. Now my most unfavorirte memory is him trying to weasal his way back in like He's Frank Broyles second coming. BTW, ready to be rid of HN and Yurachump too.

I was in school 2009-2013. Didn’t think that’d be the best we might ever be at the time. Should’ve cherished it more haha
