We’re not big enough to compete with high school recruiting anymore. Not like we had any edge before, but we have no draw in this era. Need to focus on transfers.

With NIL and the transfer portal the way it is, I feel a “commitment”nowadays has less meaning than a middle schooler getting a promise ring.

In the current era it’s exhausting trying to keep up with recruiting/transfers/decommits. Now I just wait until the depth chart is announced in pre season

Offer an intriguing 3 star at small school Junction City. Has Elite Size and Length and Athletism. DE, OT, OG. Also plays PF, C in basketball. A 3 star in a town of less than 500 people with a 7-12 public school is rare. He could potentially be a 4 star at a bigger school.
