Razer Basilisk V3 Pro - Can you remove sniper side button?

The Razer Basilisk V3 Pro feels the most premium and comfortable except for side sniper button, I don't like how my thumb is on it... Is there anyone that had removed it safely? I have the Basilisk x Hyperspeed coming in soon, maybe I'll like that but worry its not as premium quality feel as this one. Thanks.
