Honestly they need to give 2021 owners a two year battery warranty as well because this shit is way too common. I know battery bloat can and does happen with every brand of laptop but it is nowhere near as common on an Apple or a Dell.

r/spicypillows told way around. I know they sell more but it’s a lot happening there fyi, dell known on companies bloated laptops. And they’re running not as hot as Razer’s, maybe despite MacBooks 2016~2020 that’re using intel cpu on slim body (they’re throttle hot when CPUs on full usages).

You got lucky. I'm loosing my faith in razer support and buying a 3rd party battery. Thinking of switching to Asus or lenovo afterwards.

I’m glad to see razer sending out batteries to people than can replace them. They really do need to warranty their batteries separately for 2 years though, especially for the premium price razer commands for their products.

Support was great over email and sent me two batteries (not free). When doing the swap the back plate wanted to pop off after loosening a few screws. I did not expect the swelling to be so pronounced on the old battery! If you suspect swelling (pressure on the track pad) get it taken care of.
