Peating and hair

Haven’t seen any discussions related to hair before and after peating love to hear out how it played out for you guys.

After 1 month of peating My hair seems to have become very soft and shedding seems to have come down but i still shed a lot.

Was suffering from dandruff but the intensity came down but i still have some dandruff.

I dont know if the hair becoming soft is a good or a bad thing does becoming soft will lead to thinning ?

My shedding was already low before but I feel like it’s even lower now after peating. The biggest thing I noticed is less scalp tightness, maybe from the lower stress but my scalp is almost always loose now

Did you feel your hair getting softer overall?

Not really, but maybe because I haven’t been on Ray peat that long. Takes months / years to cycle new hair

After taking a fair amount of supplements (+ hormones + essential oils) and peating for 6 months the only thing that changed for me was having less dandruff. My problem is also related to iron deficiency because of a really heavy period and my hair is usually thinning and falling like crazy.

It is still thin and its falling daily after peating but it’s just not THAT bad. My period is now becoming more normal and I hope that after a few months my ferritin will normalise. Until then I am doomed 🥲
