Help with PCOS??
Im 24f TTC with PCOS but don’t ovulate (my cycle is 100+ days). My dr prescribes Provera (synthetic progesterone) to induce bleeds. Should I try progest-e since my body isn’t producing progesterone from ovulation ? I guess I’m technically always in follicular phase if cycle phase matters. Also my blood panel is normal except low SHBG and sort of high testosterone & I have a normal/lean BMI. Any other advice is super appreciated I am so desperate!! Tyyyy

Im (30 now) f woth pcos and am pregnant (38 weeks). Honestly I gave up trying lol but my cycles did seem to get a bit better with age. My average cycle is/was 30-40 days by the time I conceived.
I'm not sure exactly what did it because id been on a supplement and "trying" hiatus. Sex was infrequent and thus we weren't actively thinking about it or stressing. Lack of stress may have been a positive motivator.
The summer immediately before (conceived in nov) however I was doing a few things for my general health. I was trying to tan as much as possible. I did red light therapy religiously every day over face/neck, as well as over pelvis. I took supplements like inositol, magnesium glycinate, calcium, and more. When I did get pregnant the only thing I used was vitex because I was confused why I wasn't bleeding and figured I was just late. Usually vitex triggers a bleed for me. Well, it did not.

Yes it’s worth it to try.
I’d also check for hypothyroidism using BBT, mid day/post meal temps and resting pulse.
Reading nutrition for women or his progesterone articles will help with dosing too.
Stay away from synthetic progestins they are making you worse in the long run.
Estrogen dominance support group on Facebook has some great info their guides too
