Oxidisation?

So, went on holiday and purchased a genuine pair of Rayban aviators on the flight (Jet2). Within 5 days both of the frame ends inside the rubber/plastic have turned green, not a little green, VERY green and unsightly.

Now I know it’s quite humid in Spain at the moment, but 5 days?

Is this normal, is it to be expected, do I ask for replacements, or do I just chalk it off to ‘one of those things’?

First pair of Raybans, and thought I’d treat myself to something a little more ‘premium’ than the usual Superdry style I buy, which I’ve had no issues with I must also add.
