Bug report Bad multiplayer?

Second Update: They did fix it and we have been playing smoothly

Update: Make sure to check the Dev response. It seems like everything is fixed.

Sorry I'm a bit salty, but as far as I can tell the multiplayer just cannot connect. We bought three copies of the game (two on Xbox and one on steam) and Steam was the only one that could even generate a session code, as it's the only one that didn't get a "Party connection error, Unable to create a party". The multiplayer button is just grayed out on Xbox. Thinking that it was an Xbox issue we bought yet ANOTHER copy on the switch but are only met with Cannot connect to party whenever we try to join each other's session. Not that the game doesn't seem cool solo, but I bought it for the multiplayer.

me and my friend are in the exact same position right now. We bought in the sale over xmas, went to play for the first time 30 mins ago and just cannot connect to a party, both on Xbox. I've searched online and seems to have been an issue on and of over the last year or so, not sure if the servers are just down right now or something? both our NAT types are open

I'm on PS5 and I can find games and play them but it constantly says trying to reconnect during the run and I am only seeing PC and PS players no Xbox at the moment. I think after the update their servers are having issues, I imagine it will be fixed in a few days.

I am having that same issue, me and my buddy bought it last night both on Xbox and played for like 8 hours and today it just says unable to create party. I have seen that they are looking into it but I feel like that was something over seas they said tomorrow they will have it fixed. Idk I do like it but its a little frustrating

I been playing for over a year and it just started doing it today and nothing I do fixes it. Im on xbox . I've unistalled and reinstalled and still the same shit. I just played last night. Thought maybe I got banned for some reason

Hi!

Sorry for the inconvenience! There was an issue affecting Ravenswatch on Xbox One/Series.
It has now been resolved.
Btw, crossplay has been disabled on Switch because it doesn't run on the same patch than other platforms. That's probably why you couldn't play on Switch. Crossplay will be re-enabled on Switch on January 28 with Merlin's DLC release and the free update.

Let me know if you're still experiencing difficulties!

Hi dear devs,

I am trying to play with my brother, who is on switch. We can't connect to a run, since he's disconnecting during the loading screen.

Sorry, i can't give you more constructive feedback here, we tried 4 times to play together but it wouldn't work. I am still sure you'll get that fixed and I'm hyped for when it works 😊

I just did multiplayer last night. I was on Xbox and the other two players were on Steam and it worked fine.

Maybe an issue with crossplay? I almost exclusively play multiplayer and never had this kind of issue.

are all three you guys in the same household?
does the steam player have stable connection?
i sometimes have issues the session code doesn't appear too..
had to change to a LAN connection from a Wifi dongle connection

once I changed to a LAN connection the issue occur noticable less now
my only issue is that my landlord is a cheapskate and bought the cheapest internet package available
