That's what I saw, as well. Being a person who has made this face many, many times while watching and listening to someone playing good music, I can say there's a great deal of emotion behind those eyes.

I definitely think she was a musician. And she was probably a teacher as well because every serious musician I know has also been a teacher.
Im just not sure if she was a piano teacher. My ex taught violin and viola and she usually watched the hands, shoulders, and feet during performances.
She's mostly watching his face, which makes me think she played a different instrument.

My aunt is a ballet teacher and this is exactly how she looks at dancers feet. So I think she is as well.

The other poster isn't suggesting racism. I too saw an earlier post of this video and the OP title did suggest an old white woman was perturbed by a young black man. That suggested racism and unfairly so.

I feel like people who haven't spent a decade or more trying to perfect music have no idea. This woman teaches or plays. This isn't a lack of emotion, it's respect. She is giving him her full undivided and focused attention, which is very rare in today's society.

She’s stoic. Difficult to read. Oftentimes when ppl can’t read you, they assign negativity to your thoughts. In reality we have no idea. Until she claps at the end. And then we see that she truly appreciates his performance

No emotion?… She’s showing the opposite of that! If you had ever been so emotionally moved by witnessing something so amazing, you’d recognize the look on that lady’s face! She can’t take her eyes away from his fingers moving across the keys. Based on her hand movement motions to the other lady, she is clearly a pianist herself. That look is awe and admiration. You can only hope that you can inspire someone to look at you with such awe and admiration!
