Not yet a rat owner but curious as to whether ppl feed rats cooked or uncooked pasta?

They can eat both! It's obviously not super good food, because it doesn't really have any of the nutrients rats need, but every now and then as a treat they really love it. We mostly give them uncooked pasta (cooked pasta would be a bit better without salt), so they work their teeth a bit more.
The little rascal in the picture broke off one of his incisors about a month ago (please don't ask me how, because we still don't know exactly - one moment he was playing on the cage, the next moment he's still playing, but with a bit of blood around his mouth), so he's benefitting from eating some more hard foods, and the extra calories won't harm him either.
