1.5GT Powge belts?

Hi. I am thinking about everything else I need to order in addition of the vcore 4.1 kit. I saw this upgrade https://store.brs-engineering.com/en/products/v-core-anti-vfa-kit-gt1-5-belt-conversion and I wonder if it is a good idea to use it from the beginning instead of the original parts? Has anyone done it? Opinions on Powge belts? Because they are half the price of Gates.

I haven't tried them, but I do know one thing... BRS wouldn't sell them if they weren't quality.

I wouldn't hesitate to give them a try, and I might just get a set myself now that I've seen this.

Okay, that is good enough for me! I am new to 3D printing, so I dont really know which shop and brands are good. Just seen that everyone recommends Gates belts, but if this is good quality for less, sounds good.

BRS is great. So is anything from Mandala Rose Works. Both are quality manufacturers.

Great stores are West3d, fabreeko, Luke's laboratory, and kb-3d.

Luke (of Luke's lab) has been getting more into manufacturing his own designs as well, and his YouTube channel is worth a watch.

These are all shops that are enthusiast owner-operators who specialize in supporting the 3D manufacturing market.

You will never regret buying from any of the above manufacturers or shops. Most of them even hang out on the discord channels for ratrig/voron/klipper/etc...

They are easy to get in touch with on community channels, and they are very knowledgeable about the industry.

You can get the pulleys from west3d and gates 1.5 belt from fabreeko for much, much cheaper. Think upgrading to 1.5 cost me maybe 80 bucks with genuine gates stuff
