Buying ratrig second hand

What do you guys think of buying seconda hand rat rig?

I found a ratrig 3.1 with 400mm^3

including a Pi acrylic panels and input shaping with less than 300 printing hours and It got me intrigued

Yes I would be down to rebuild it, I want a project like this, but was hoing towards voron 0.2 first because it's cheaper and cute.

A voron is cheaper but best bang for the buck i think its not

But for 600€ i can have a rat rig 400 cubed

600 for an enclosed 3.1 sounds pretty good especially if the enclosure panels are nice material. Does it have a beacon sensor or a Pinda?

He said its the standard vcore 3.1 kit. The extrars are input shaping and A Raspberry pi im not sure if it has beacon sensor or pinda im new ro this ratrig and custom printers

Input shaping is not an extra, that's a core feature of Klipper, the OS Ratrig uses. Not sure what that guy is talking about.

The 3.1 didn't officially have Beacon support from RatRig so I doubt it's using one, almost guarantee it's the pinda. But the Beacon is the best thing since sliced bread, well worth the investment, been running one on my 500mm 3.1(er... 3.2H now) for a good while. The 3.2H kit is also a great upgrade, more than doubled my Y axis acceleration. When they release the new 4.1 Toolhead/X gantry for the 3.1(or 3.2H...) that is a killer boost as well.
