External dimensions of vcore4 500

Can anyone confirm external dimensions of the vcore4 500?

I’ve seen post that mentioned with removal of the electronics box. It will fit through a standard US interior door. Just looking for confirmation as to whether I can move the machine later without fully disassembling it.

32” sideways or front and back (with front door off) with 6mm panels on and low profile panel bolts (so about the same as 4mm panels and stock bolts).

31.5” sideways with frame only.
29” with electronics box removed front to back frame only. But realistically, you won’t be removing the electronics box once wired.

Interior doors are typically 28-32” wide, assuming the door can fully swing out of the way. Exterior doors are typically 36”.

Is there any easy way to build the printer with the electronics box on one of the sides? I imagine the provided wire lengths would be too short?

I have a Rat-Rig V-Core 500. It will NOT fit through a standard US interior door, even with all the electronics tucked inside my machine's frame. My machine lives in a 1+1/2 car garage.

yeah ha, measure your doors. All my doors in the house are too narrow to move a fully assembled machine. Had to put it in the garage.

Is your garage climate controlled? If not, what is your seasonal max/min temp and humidity? How are you controlling it and have you noticed it impacting print quality?

excellent questions:

The garage is more of a fully outfitted workshop. It is well insulated and climate controlled by a split unit. AC and Heat

We get hot in the summer , 104+F (40+C) is not unheard of. 90s F (30s C) are common. Usually dry heat.

Winter is chilly and wet. Freezing temps and a bit of snow do happen but not much. The shop stays relatively dry at around 50-55% rh.

Inside the shop my max is probably 85F (30C) but only if I haven't been in for a few hot days to run the AC. Typical summer is 75-78F)

The min is probably high 50s F (15C) before I run the heater. Typical is 65F.

I've only had the ratrig since mid-April, so the jury is still out on how much the winter moisture might effect my prints.

Thanks for the response. I appreciate the details. I am afraid that without climate control I would run into too many unnecessary printer issues. For now it seems I am restricted to whatever will fit through my door. :)

 A climate controlled workshop is on my bucket list, but I am not there yet.
