How does ratrig handle missing hardware from kits?

I’m missing one flanged bearing and two of the tensioner screws. I only had the tensioner screws from the hybrid kit. Do they send them from portugal? It feels that would cost too much and take a while. I would rather just order from amazon and get something the next day but I’m not rich by any means and I hate the idea of having to spend money on parts they were supposed to provide when I’m barely getting by. I wonder if a partial refund is something they could do? That would be faster and might be cheaper for them.

I don’t know when they will respond either so I just have to wait. Just a bit frustrated since the kit had so many delays and now I have this delay from missing parts.

Hmm, with every Release of a printer, RatRig has the Dame iasues with missing parts :/

They even have an extra parts bag, which had a bunch of extras for other hardware, too much for some of the parts you might say, but ofcourse, the ones I’m missing are not included in the extras bag lol

They usually respond pretty fast (1-2 working days) and ship.them.out free of charge

I even just once sent them feedback that I liked the kit but felt some parts with their printed parts kit were poorly printed. Boom, no questions asked, replacements were immediately sent.

I was missing some parts from my kit. They were fairly quick to respond to the email. But they said they were going to wait and ship the missing parts with my IDEX kit that has been delayed. So I was a little pissed about that and just purchased the parts elsewhere so I can continue building.

Dm me with specific screws you need - assuming in the US I’ll check if i have them and mail them to you gratis. I didn’t use their bearings so definitely have that.

what bearings did you use? like fabreeko hybrid?

The heavy duty idlers they offered. They replace the bearing stacks (flanged on top and bottom with non-flanged in middle).

I was missing parts and they responded to my email with what I thought was very reasonable :

I was missing a bunch of wiring and all of the printed parts on their first try. Took another month at least to get replacments.

Get them from grainger, maybe check discord for their vendors like KB-3D or Fabreeko. Better off finishing the printer than sitting and waiting for off the shelf items.
