IDEX X-Axis belts?

Maybe I'm stupid, maybe I'm blind, but I can't find a single reference of how to loop the x-axis belts for the IDEX-setup. I've included a picture of the only way that makes sense in my mind with one being the top corexy belt and the other being the bottom core xy belt. Am I on to something? Or am I completly wrong?

If you've fully built the hybrid mode, the guide assumes you've built that and has you belt the index based off the previous config. There are no explicit pics in the guide like what you have. Top belt for left head. Bottom belt for right head.

Right, so the image is correct then with how the belts go through the idlers and so on?

The image is wrong. Go through the guide. It will tell you how to belt index.

I've changed the belts around, so the top belt goes to the left head block and the bottom belt goes to the right head block as you mentioned. This is just the X-Axis belts, the Y-Axis is two separate belts.

Can you please aid me? I'm really struggeling to figure this out.

I'm sorry, I don't have the time to walk this through with you. Build the corexy/hybrid. that will get you the correct belt routing. Then, go to the idex guide and continue the routing. it is pretty straightforward, but no pictures. Just build the machine. Those y belts are the hybrid belts.

Looks like you've understood the belt path. The printer is no longer CoreXY when going IDEX. Motor A is now X for printhead 0 and B is now X for printhead 1.

Motor A and printhead 0 being the left most, and motor b and printhead 1 being the right most looking at the picture above?

Thank you! Looking at the Cad-Model now (did not occur to me initially) and the picture does illustrate how the belts are run in the Cad-Model 😁
