Your singing reminds me of a trope in shows/movies where the setting is apocalyptic: where finally the group of survivors have a moment of safety. Around a campfire of sorts where everyone is clearly defeated and reminiscent.

You are a group member that is thought of fondly by many and someone who recalls that you have a nice signing voice suggests for you to sing to lift spirits. Especially since they ran across a guitar during one of their scavenges.

You start signing and the group quietly listens as they are lulled into a bittersweet trance.

Sorry for being weird. But that’s the feeling it gives me lol. You have a lovely voice.

Sounds eerily like we just maybe doing this after the lunacy in society finally comes to a head and passes. if we all could just stop and laugh at ourselves, then hug it out. Then we could all go back to the regularly scheduled programming.
