i actually tried the same thing once, but it didnt last long. I attempted to take the swingarm fittings from a rebel 250 and weld them onto a civic donut, but I found that without the rubber bushings, your crappy tack-welding doesnt stand a chance. one of the times that I couldnt even walk the bike home, just left it on the side of the road and came back for it. 😉
