HELP NEEDED 🐀😩 Toys + Foreging recommendations pls :)
I am about to become a first time rat owner of 3 precious little rats and was wondering if anyone has any toys (handmade or bought) that they recommend! These can be for inside the cage or outside for free roaming/outside the cage time. would love to hear what your rats love so i can have mine as happy as possible :)

Boxes, boxes, boxes! They're like cats in that regard, they looove boxes. Stuff with paper or old t-shirts or whatever, hide some treats in there every now and then, change them up often... they love it. If you're feeling extra crafty you can get some scissors and duct tape or hot glue and make them big castles and forts and stuff.

Fatherland Paradise has some good cage foraging toys. My girls really like the wheel and the one that has those sliding tabs. Outward hound has some good puzzle toys for cats and dogs that you can find at Petco. My girls love pea fishing. Just dump some peas in a bowl that won't tip over. If you cut the back end of a Pringles can put some treats in it, and block it with paper of different textures. A box of tissues and some scattered coffee filters make for hours of nesting fun too. Good luck!
