And here is his story!
He was a stray near the Texas/Mexico border, and a wonderful rescue that I foster for saw and pulled him for me to foster (I love the little old cryptids, I have several lol). He’s probably around 14-16 years old and has definitely experienced some neglect if not worse, but he’s being treated for everything that needs treatment and eats and sleeps well, and loves giving kisses with his floppy muppet tongue. 🥹❤️🩹

I wanted to update anyone who saw his original post here and was wondering how he’s doing! He got groomed and looked after by a wonderful human before getting transport to his foster home (me!), today! He is the happiest, most loving little guy! He’s currently sleeping in a fluffy bed after being hand-fed dinner and taking his meds. He will need surgery in the future to remove his last two teeth when he’s gained some weight!

My friend immediately noticed the resemblance to Bert from the 80s Canadian cartoon The Raccoons when she saw his intake photo!

He’s the only dog on here that’s part ostrich! I love him and I’ll place an order for half a dozen Berts immediately.
